Year 1 had a fantastic day at Windsor Castle. They went with Reception and Year 2. They learned many interesting facts and were able to identify features of castle following our work in class, which brought their knowledge and learning to life. The children made wonderful models in DT and as part of home-learning.
Year One Class Charter
We learned about 'Toys from the past' in history. Our parent's came to school to share toys they played with and told us about games they played when they were younger. We learned a lot about how toys have changed. We saw toys made from different materials including wood, sweet corn leaves and porcelain.
Thank you parents for coming to share your stories and old toys with us. We had lots of fun!
