St. Partrick's Day 2017
The children in year 1 had a themed day for St. Patrick's day/ They dressed in green and learned all about St. Patrick. They listened to Irish stories and music and created fact-files about the Saint.
World Book Day 2017
The children made a fantastic effort and came dressed as many great book characters. They were all able to explain who they were and what book they were from. We wrote book reviews, characterisations and drew alternative front covers for books.

Our Class Visit to Milestones:
On Thursday, Reception and Year One went to Milestones Museum. We participated in a Houses and Homes workshop linked to last terms history topic. They also had the opportunity to see many vehicles and bicycles from the past, which links to our current topic. They had an enjoyable day and learned a lot.
