Eagle House ~ Tudor Visit

Water Aid Pipeline Challenge!

On Monday 23rd May we’re inviting all Year Three and Four pupils to take part in WaterAid’s Pupil Pipeline fundraising activity. This is to support their learning in their Geogrpahy topic of ‘Water Use and the Water Cycle’.

The Pupil Pipeline is a challenge that brings the global water crisis to life. Millions of children in Zambia and around the world have no access to clean, safe water.  Children like those at the Simango school, where there is absolutely no water supply at all, and only 9 toilets for 800 pupils.

Pupils will be asked to wear blue and bring a £2 donation to take part in a fun water line challenge! We will be racing buckets of water, creating the longest pipe line and learning about the work of Water Aid.

To find out more, just come and talk to your child’s teacher. You can also visit the event website at: www.wateraid.org/uk/pipeline  and learn more about WaterAid at: www.wateraid.org.
